SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to website reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office devoted to service the area every day. The company level established for intervention encounters a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that sassa Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
